Back in the day, I fancied myself as a real estate investor. I hate to admit it but it took me longer than
it should have to realize what a lousy gig it is to keep on fixing things up
only to have tenants keep breaking them back down. The one thing I’ll say was even though I grew
to despise being a landlord, at the time, it was how I made my living and my
parents didn't raise me to do something only half way. I wanted to be good at it, which I guess is ultimately,
why I got out. Good is only half way.
The bottom line is I had to focus on improving myself. I was filling my mind with Tony Robbins, Zig
Ziglar, and Napoleon Hill. One day
Michael Gerber and his E-Myth showed up on my desk through a mailing by Nightingale
Conant. That day took me on a new course.
My whole point of view on business and more importantly my life changed
forever.....
